It is a Customs and Chittagong Port approved Bonded Off-dock / Inland Container Depot (ICD). The ICD is International Ships & Port Facility Security (ISPS) compliant company. It has started Empty Container Handling operation service in March 2009 and Export-Import handling operation has started in November 2010. The number of total officers and staff are 160.The ICD has its all kind of technical and state of the art facilities for the off dock services and distance from Port to ELL Yard is only 5.8 Km.
